Kids love to ride bikes. Don’t you remember that first taste of freedom, the wind rippling through your hair, escaping your parents–even if it was only for a block? We offer bikes for kids as young as 18 months. Start them early on a balance bike and you’ll never have to hassle with training wheels. We also have a more in depth article about shopping for your child here.
Everyone always wants the bike that will fit their child for the longest time span. We get that you don’t want to buy a new bike every year, so we have a Trade-In Program for bikes purchased with us. It is very important to purchase a bike that fits your child now–most kids just won’t ride a bike that is too big–it’s scary to start and stop. Make it fun now and you’ll have to pry them off their bikes as they grow.
Do you have an older child who just won’t shake those training wheels? Check out our advice on How to Ditch Training Wheels or contact Theresa for private lessons.
It is just not possible for us to have every color and size of every model in stock. We can order anything from both companies with delivery generally in 5-7 days. We will make every effort to have at least one of the following models on the floor.
The different price levels and component offerings can be confusing–we’ve tried to narrow the choices for you. Please come on in and ask us all of your questions–we are here to help you find YOUR perfect bike!
